Join Our Team in Building Partnerships to Improve Cheshire East Residents’ Health and Wellbeing

Social Action Partnership is a long-term partnership with Cheshire East Council aimed at improving Cheshire East residents’ health and wellbeing, undertaking social action, supporting collaboration, and underpinned by a thriving Voluntary, Community, Faith and Social Enterprise (VCFSE) Sector.

We are recruiting for two roles to work with our team. Both are for an initial 6 Month Fixed Term and both are Part Time 2-3 days per week, with potential to extend/become a Permanent Position.

Firstly, we are looking for someone who can assist our team in engaging the VCFSE sector effectively with our partners in the public and private sectors, including supporting VCFSE Representatives, facilitating collaboration, and helping with partnership development projects. Key tasks will include:  provide support for the new Cheshire East VCFSE Leadership Group; help in developing community infrastructure, mapping local assets and working with partners to set and achieve actions; and support implementation of the new Social Value Award, including engaging with business.

Secondly, we want to recruit someone who can assist our team with communications and engagement activities, including help and support with volunteering. Key tasks will include: collating good news stories and information bulletins, writing press releases, short videos, blogs, and presentational material; update and implement our annual campaigns calendar, including leading promotional events such as Volunteers Week and work with partners to arrange training and events.
