New Social Action Partnership Goes Live – 1 April 2020

We are pleased to launch the new Cheshire East Social Action Partnership Service from today!

The contract for the newly designed service was secured by Pulse Regeneration through a competitive tender process and the team have been working hard over the past two months ready to mobilise the new service.

Pulse has worked with VCFSE organisations in Cheshire East for almost 20 years and specialises in providing support to Voluntary, Community, Faith and Social Enterprise Sector (VCFSE) organisations. Our vision is to improve quality of life through the development of sustainable VCFSE organisations and communities.

The new service is the beginning of a long-term partnership between Pulse and Cheshire East Council.

Pulse Managing Director Chris Hart said:

“We are extremely excited at the opportunity to deliver a new way of working in Cheshire East on behalf of Cheshire East Council. The VCFSE sector is well placed to lead the prevention agenda and help reduce demand on costly health and social care services. The sector is already working in localities, often works with the most marginalised, offers a huge resource including people and buildings, and can lever in funding not otherwise available to formal health care providers. We aim to strategically engage the VCFSE sector in delivering the Cheshire East Partnership Five Year Plan through the creation of the new Social Action Partnership structure, and will help develop a stronger more sustainable VCFSE sector, working closely with all partners in the Public sector and business and industry to deliver increased social action and  impact in Cheshire East”.
