Live Well – Your ‘Health Unlocked’

The Social Action Partnership are pleased to be promoting a new feature to the Cheshire East Council ‘Live Well’ website.

Live Well provides a comprehensive and up-to-date online directory of over 3,000 of local health and wellbeing support and advice, clubs, and activities in Cheshire East. The website enables you to search for services in your area. This includes services offered by the Voluntary, Community, Faith and Social Enterprise (VCFSE) Sector. To access the website please click here

However, a new feature has recently been added to the website, which offers an even simpler way to find relevant services. This could support VCFSE organisations in advising the public and will enable local information to be retrieved quickly. The feature enables people to manage their health online by creating their own referral or helping a care professional to do this on a person’s behalf. Information is entered about common conditions and needs and based on the first three digits of the persons postcode, local activities, groups and services close by are recommended. For more information please click here

Nik Darwin, Senior Commissioning Manager for Adult Social Care and Health at Cheshire East Council said “The VCFSE sector does vital work locally to support residents in a variety of ways. We hope Live Well Cheshire East and the new Health Unlocked feature will make providing information in the course of this work simpler”.

The Social Action Partnership would like to invite you to attend the Live Well – Your ‘Health Unlocked’ webinar on 27th November at 10am to help you find out more about Live Well and the ‘Health Unlocked’ feature for you and your service users to access to find services and resources to support Health & Wellbeing.
