Community Mental Health Transformation – Community Asset Funding

Funding available for VCFSE sector organisations supporting people with mental health in Cheshire – applications close 3rd December 2021

Cheshire and Wirral Partnership Trust (CWP), on behalf of the Community Mental Health Transformation Programme partners, is pleased to be able to provide the opportunity to apply for community asset funding, from available resources in this financial year. This bid process is designed to facilitate access to community asset funding for groups and organisations within the VCFSE sector.

Applications are invited from VCFSE organisations who can provide access and mental health support to people living in Cheshire and Wirral, specifically focusing on supporting the following population areas:

  • People from BAME communities
  • People from economically disadvantaged areas or who are unemployed
  • People from rural communities
  • People who have experienced domestic violence

The deadline for applications is midnight Friday 3rd December 2021. Completed applications should be submitted directly to Lauren Connah: lauren.connah1@nhs.net.

All applications will be shortlisted by a panel on their own merit, and CWP ask that documents and comments beyond those asked for, are not submitted in support of any application. They hope to review applications in the week beginning 6th December and make awards known by the 10th December 2021.
