Day Opportunities Provider Market Engagement Event
16th December 2021, 10.30am-12.00pm (via Microsoft Teams)
Social Action Partnership are supporting Cheshire East Council to promote a market engagement event for providers to help develop the Council’s commissioning and tender intentions for Day Opportunities services. This will cover services that support adults with a variety of eligible care and support needs including older people with dementia, people with a learning disability and/or autism, mental health support needs and physical disabilities.
Day opportunities provide a safe, friendly place for people to make friends, learn new skills and enjoy activities within the community and inside buildings. They can also give carers or family a break from their caring roles and take some time for their own interests.
The Council want to hear from providers who currently deliver day opportunities services or those who may look to deliver them in the future and give them the opportunity to make comments and suggestions about the way that services are provided in the future. The Council are seeking to obtain views from a wide range of providers including Voluntary, Community, Faith and Social Enterprise (VCFSE) sector groups and organisations who can provide training and employment opportunities.
This will be a virtual event via Microsoft Teams and will take place between 10.30am and 12.00pm on Thursday 16th December 2021.
